Shipbuilding

The Gdańsk Shipyard exists since 1844, while the Gdańsk Shipyard as a company was established in 1947. It was here that the first fully equipped ship in post-war Poland was produced – Sołdek, which is currently standing on Motława in Gdańsk, open to the public as a museum.
 
We work with the largest European shipyards in the field of hotel blocks for passenger ferries.

In this respect, our goal is unrivaled quality and constant cooperation with thin-walled constructions. We also develop cooperation with clients regarding the production of partially equipped hulls and fully equipped units.

To constantly improve the competences of our employees, we established the Baltic Operator – Baltic Development Academy, where we train and certify welders.

We work in the Integrated Management System in accordance with the requirements of norms 9001, 3834-2, 1090-2, 18001, 17025

We have flat section lines that we are constantly developing.


We have a production hall with an area of ​​6.5hA


– 200t lifting capacity,
– processing capacity of machines 100,000 tons of steel per year


We have a paint shop that can accommodate sections with a length of 38m


We have our own transport and lifting capacity:
– port cranes: 50t each,
– mobile platforms up to 365 tons capacity
and the possibility of launching vessels up to 150m in length from the Kashubian Quay at a short distance from the Baltic Sea (1.5km).
